State Leadership and Skills Conference

SkillsUSA has a large number of contests that allow students to demonstrate their abilities against others from across the state.  Each April Iowa SkillsUSA chapters gather to compete in over 70 different Career and Technical Related Contests.  Medal winners are awarded to the top three finishers while the top place winner qualifies for the national contest, SkillsUSA Championships, in June that has students compete against all fifty states along with Puerto Rico, and The U.S. Virgin Islands.
